Child rights as the name specifies the rights for children. All the people right from their birth to age of puberty are children. They all are delicate, innocent, and dependent. They are sensitive and receptive and they should be handled with care as they are future of our nation. We can also say that they are builders of nation. Rights are what they deserve and should have in their life. There are various types of rights. Children have right to live and grow in an adequate standard of living, home, health care proper schooling and education. Primary and secondary schooling should be free. They have right to be protected from mistreatment and exploitation and special care should be taken in cases of handicapped and orphans children. No child should be allowed and force to work i.e. child labour which is hazardous to the children health and it can prevent him/her from going school.

The UN convention expressing their commitment to protect a child promotes various rights and are laid down in it many countries have signed it in including Nepal. When we talk about Nepal it has over 2 million child labours who full fills about 15 percent of total workforce of their country. The work in farm, households, and also in various dangerous environment too. They are bounded as slaves , thousands of orphans, homeless children are living on streets even those few sheltered ones are not secure and well cared even worse thousand of girls are trafficked. Even in India many children are made to serve as prostitutes and many of them even while living with thier parents are discared, malnourished and are not provided with good education. Government has vital responsibility of guaranteeing the rights of all children. Now chid right is one of the fundamental right many NGO’s are helping children and fighting against the injustice. Our enforcement mechanism must be strong and effective, each and everyone should so to it that no child is treated badly and against their rights. This will help in decreasing the injustice against children and will help them to make their future bright. As they are builder of our nation.

"Childhood should be carefree, playing in the sun :

Not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul".

- Dave Pelzer.

Adults are only kids grown up anyway. As adults have enjoyed their childhood they should see to it that children who are growing up should be treated equally and with love and affection. Many children are not getting what they deserve. Even today not all children enjoy their rights. They are being forced to work when their age is just about learning and enjoying.

People try to snatch the childhood of the innocent soul. This should be stopped. Child rights which is one of the fundamental right tell us about all the rights which every child deserves. Right from his/her health, access of schooling, sports etc.

Every person should be aware about the rights towards a child. Those parents who don't educate their children are equal to their enemies. Child, may it be guy or a girl they should be equally treated.

In many portion of our country a guy child is treated more nicely compared to a girl child. This should end.

As said the little soul should be cared and well treated and every child right they should enjoy. And if its not happening we should raise our voice against it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         abhishek sawane

Children are very senstive and they are like clay. They shape themselves the way they are being mould. Right from their birth special care must be taken towards them and we should see to it that they are rightly treated. Every child deserves love and affection. As we will treat them they will grow in the same way and our nation's future depends on them. At it is said " children are the future of our nation". They are the important ones.

They should be educated properly, their health should be maintained and even their other activities should be supported and they should be encouraged. Children who are orphans and homeless should be helped. Many NGOs help such children.

Every citizen should think of children and should believe that All Children Are Equal.

If they see any injustice going around with any child. We should see to it that we will raise our voice against it rather than just ignoring.

One person can make difference. This thinking of ours will change the future of our nation.

"Every child deserve love and affection and they should enjoy their childhood without any suffer".                                                                                                                                                                                                                  abhishek sawane                                                                                                                                         MAEM

Child labour

Child labour is the main problem which is going around the nation. We talk about child rights, we talk about educating them and making their future bright. Child labour is exactly opposite of child rights still it is often practiced around. Children are made to work in factories, hotels, houses and even in many dangerous laces.

Child labour refers to the employment of children which deprives them of their childhood and disturb them physically, mentally and emotionally.

Child labour has a predominant feature in the Indian society. Carpet industry is the example where child labour is practiced because it requires the fine little fingers to weave the finest and tiniest of knots to create the most expensive of carpets.

Fire cracker industry probably prefers children to men because they are cost effective and more efficient. Even household labour-children last longer and are more honest than adults; is a claim made by most homemakers.

The amendment to child labour act is welcome, but its hardly enough. People often forget that children are supposed to send to school and they should enjoy their childhood rather than working but still they do appoint them in their work places.

In India child labour is a serious issue. Even after so many rights and acts it is still going on.

We should see to it that no child labour of going on in our locality and if it is going on we should see to it that we take certain steps to stop it.

CHILD IS MEANT TO LEARN AND NOT TO EARN. STOP CHILD LABOUR.

Child illiteracy and child rights.

Other than child labour, today children have to suffer from many other problems like hunger death, school dropouts, etc. This exists because of poverty and illiteracy.  Further poverty and illiteracy take place because of population of the country. In today’s world poverty is rising day by day because of heavy and rapid population growth. Due to overpopulation many people make streets as their dwellings where they settle down with their children. They make use of children to earn for their basic needs which leads to child labour and child begging. Due to illiteracy many people are unable to send their children to school so their children illiterate. Further, as the children are illiterate they also remain poor. This situation force them to choose a wrong way of life, and they start stealing things, begging, pick pocketing, some of them attempt crime like murders and robbery.

This issue is major issue of our country. Our country is still facing the truth and problems of illiteracy. Illiteracy is mother of all issues as it gives birth to many other issues like child labour, begging, unemployment, female foeticide, and many more. To overcome this kind of problems we can educate these people about SARVA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN and guide them towards the path of literacy so that our future upcoming generation of children may not suffer from illiteracy.

it is a very important to have correct legal norms to protect children rights for any country considering how important the quality of education for children has become mandatory. Hence it is the duty of legislation and people of the country to protect  the rights of children and also provide quality education to the children who are bright future of the country. Not only education but overall development in scientific  knowledge, technology, personality and communication is also important. Children should be treated like humans are and have all the rights of human but we should see to it that they are protected, looked up after and that they  don't face any kind of discrimination. Children enjoy most of the basic rights except some which they can enjoy only after reaching adulthood. They also have some additional rights as they are minor better known as immature human beings. A child has right to protect himself/herself from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harassment. They have right to best education and development till they reach a stage of adulthood. It is the responsibility of the parents and guardian to see to it that children get adequate food, shelter, water and good standards of hygiene wherever they live. These are basic rights of children so as to protect them till they are mature. The child has right to listen and speak up on the matters that are of children interest but the power to make final choice is with the parents  or guardian.the article 29 of UN convention enables every child to: 1} enjoy life 2} able to participate in the society 3} be self conscious and employable.
